Sulivia Goddess of the Sun
Who stands behind our sun, the Śul? Is there only one sun, or are there many? Who provides the fire, the fuel, the Śu? It is Sulivia, the Goddess of the Sun! Śulue in Celtic. Śulue is the driving force of the sun, of life, and of love. At the summer solstice, the three suns, the Tri Śul, become visible. Yes, there is not just one sun, but three!
"You are the fire that gives life! You are the light that makes us whole and loves us! You are the flame that never dies. You are the sun that eternally woos us."
The light of the Goddess Sulivia makes us whole! It heals our soul, our body, and our spirit, bringing us into wholeness, into completeness. The fire, the heat, is life! Without fire, there is no life! Thus, she warms the water in the earth and is therefore the goddess of hot springs. In Bath, England, there are remnants of ancient hot baths called "Sulis," which are Sulivia, Śulue.
"Goddess of the Sun, we honor you! You make us alive and give us light! Goddess of the Sun, fire in the night. We leave behind what weakens us!"
My hymn is one of wonder, a passionate admiration, an appreciation of the magnificence of the wondrous goddess Sulivia! With her, we can let go of everything that weakens us and recharge with new strength, new fuel, the Śu!
