When winter plunges the world into silence and the land rests beneath a white blanket, the goddess Isura (Isidi in Celtic Ancient language) reveals herself. She is a goddess of being, existence, cycles, movement, and the union of all opposites, such as ice and fire, activity and stillness.

"Isura, Isura, Isura, you are!

You bestow the beautiful winter stillness.

You establish something new in ice and snow.

In the stillness, in the water, and in the snow.

You establish something beautiful, something that shines, something that loves.

That creates unity and gives peace."

In the winter stillness, space opens up for a special kind of activity: for visions and dreams, for new projects and ventures. As nature retreats, we can see ourselves more clearly and discover new ways of acting! Isura shows us the art of forging with fire and water, the union of opposites, so that we may find our inner balance! Thus, from stillness springs the power of action, and thus we can found and forge new things!

"You know the rhythm and the beat,

You tell me the course of life,

You know the craft and the deed,

You give me guidance for balance."

Thus, the goddess Isura leads us into our existential being, which we become more and more aware of!
