Brigantia Goddess of Sublimity
Ɓŕigeandi, Latinized as Brigantia, is a goddess of sublimity. This sublimity manifests itself in the vibration of heat, which is called Ɓŕi and rises upward. Ɓŕi is the creative, sprouting power of the three flames arising from a single flame. She is a guardian of fire and flames. She guards the fire of our souls and lifts us out of the quagmire of everyday life.
“Brigantia in your hand is the salvation of the land.”
In her left hand, she holds the golden orb, which symbolizes the essence that flows through all life, the essence with which we are reborn and die. This orb is an orb of healing. It is that which is infinite and eternal, that which is indestructible, for it exists beyond time and space.
“Brigantia, with shield and spear, you protect me with your army.”
Ɓŕigeandi is the “Riśe” of summer, the queen, the commander-in-chief who protects us in the heat of conflict and leads us to victory.
“Brigantia, the face of your heart speaks to me full of love.”
Ɓŕigeandi protects our heart, which is full of love. The heart is an organ in its own right, serving as the center of our emotions and, so to speak, possessing a face of its own. These “faces of the heart” are made of carnelian; at the very least, one must include a piece of carnelian.
“Brigantia, I fly with you; you give me the freedom of speech.”
Ɓŕigeandi is the goddess of all songbirds. Like the birds, we humans should be free, free to speak, free to sing, free to move!
“Brigantia, you nourish me like a sprouting leaf in the light.”
Ɓŕigeandi does not leave us alone or abandon us. She protects us: our feet, so we can walk unhindered; our hands, so we can act. She protects our moments of silence, so we can be creative and create something new and artistic.
